Containerized Force Protection FP system integrating numerous, multi-layered FP subsystems to provide automated area monitoring and situational awareness, long range threat detection, response and close-in direct fire response at FOBs and small Combat Outposts in austere environments.

Enhance base protective posture, assess threats, deny enemy access and provide standoff by controlling vehicle and personnel access through a system of systems approach. G-BOSS E will be of a size and weight that allows mobility, transportability, scalability, and modularity consistent with deployment and employment using common U. G-BOSS E is an expeditionary, ground-based, self-contained, multi-spectral sensor, persistent surveillance system used to observe, collect, detect, classify, identify, track, record, and report on contacts, objects of interest, and assessed threats twenty-four hours a day utilizing a fused video and sensor data display.

Recover and refurbish currently fielded force protection Non-Standard Equipment NS-E and to assemble and sustain integrated, interoperable, deployable Force Protection equipment packages. This approach scales capabilities with individual site requirements, providing what is needed at the time it is needed, which results in a minimal configuration burden, eases logistics and conserves force protection assets for use elsewhere.

IBD packages provide an interim IBD capability to increase protective effectiveness, enhance situational awareness and reduce troop-to-task requirements.

Provide a standard intrusion detection capability for world-wide DoD facilities to include conventional, nuclear and chemical sites. Highly secure, standardized Intrusion Detection System using state-of-commercial technology to detect and assess unauthorized intrusion of protected areas. Provides real-time assessment and rapid flexible response to existing, imminent or emerging threats. Architecture accommodates remote intrusion, chemical, biological and radiological agent monitoring.

Scalable architecture accommodates small, medium and large sites. Will enable rapid decision analysis, speed the response process as well as increase the information dissemination horizontally and vertically along the chain of command and with outside supporting organizations.

Improve Warfighter decision making and reduce troop-to-task by integrating existing standalone FP systems. The JDOC program provides an Operational Picture that improves Situational Awareness and effective timely response in the protection of personnel and resources. This is achieved by facilitating systems interoperability and integration, data fusion, and organization and display of data and imagery in the most effective way possible. Family of detection and screening systems for scanning personnel, vehicles and containers providing increased probability of detection of anomalies indicating the presence of explosives, weapons or other contraband.

Provide an advanced suite of tunnel detection sensing technologies to alert Commanders of the presence of clandestine tunnels that pose a direct threat to bases, forward operating bases and critical infrastructure security. Rapidly provide the Warfighter with a flexible, moveable, adjustable, scalable and expeditionary base defense system for detection, assessment and persistent surveillance.

Flexible, scalable, expeditionary video surveillance system providing outside the perimeter detection and assessment capabilities for Joint Security Sites, Combat Outposts and FOBs. Provide human traffic pattern analysis to determine pre and post-event pattern of life analysis to assess or predict enemy activities. The BSS capability supports analysis on a wide range of counter- IED related problem sets, including monitoring points and areas of interest, blue force operations, surveillance, ad-hoc requests, and suspicious movement reporting.

PSDS2 is a Full Motion Video FMV system and architecture that ingests video from sensors into a centralized location to support persistent surveillance, video exploitation, dissemination and archiving. Provides FMV processing, exploitation and dissemination tools to Intel analysts. Archives video and metadata for forensic analysis. Uses the Web Portal to provide thin client video exploitation and video dissemination to thousands of tactical users via Theater networks. The TSS is a modular, scalable, lightweight, rapidly deployable, ground-based security and surveillance System of Systems providing short and long-term security and persistent surveillance.

TSS and its components are designed to be employed as a stand-alone system, in a layered effort or integrated with additional force protection FP systems. Cerberus Scout is a mid-range persistent surveillance system in a portable configuration to provide Reconnaissance, Surveillance, Target Acquisition RSTA and Force Protection FP support in circumstances where it is impractical to employ a trailer based sensor suite, such as when supporting a small unit e.

The 2GF program incorporates Long Wave Infrared LWIR technology into a common B-Kit for integration across multiple platform sensor applications that provide a common picture to the Soldier for enhanced reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition in operational environments.

The B-Kit items were developed using a Horizontal Technology Integration HTI approach to obtain benefits of economies of scale and avoid duplicative systems engineering and support efforts.

The E-UGS detects enemy vehicle and footstep traffic to provide improved situational awareness, enhance existing Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance ISR assets, and facilitate a tactical response.

They provide the essential foundation for troops to train in realistic circumstance at appropriate scales. Live fire training, maneuver exercises, flight operations and myriad other training activities provide hands-on experience critical to support national security objectives and to ensure a high state of military readiness.

Test ranges serve critical functions in the development and testing of new weapons systems. DoD resource managers must balance many competing demands.

Numerous military activities on installations affect the environment and adjacent communities with noise, dust, and other air emissions. Environmental contamination and safety hazards associated with unexploded ordnance can result from the use of munitions.
